Hello!

BSFi = Blood Stained Feathers Generation 1

BSFi is an OLD story that we started on back in high school....about 6 years ago,lol. It's gone through a LOT of different stages and changes. Within the past year, though, things have been coming together quite nicely! We wound up fusing a whole bunch of smaller stories into the original BSF series and gave BSF a HUGE makeover.

Right now we're working on BSFi. I've been writing the story and I think I'm about half way done with it right now. BSFi isn't going to be very long...but it's going to be awesome. Originally,we were thinking of submitting our story ORISON to SLG Publishing first, but then ORISON became such a huge project that we had to abandon that idea. So, we're hoping that, since BSFi is MUCH shorter than ORISON, and it's so awesome, we'll be able to publish it first. We're still debating whether or not to do the comic in color....I want color, Sam wants b&w....well, we'll just see which looks better and then go with that.

We're intending to make our submission presentation completely awesome so that there's no way they'd refuse us! Lol! We're going to try to get most of the comic done before we submit our project, that way there's not a lot of waiting around to start getting things going and stuff.

Heyo!

Just made up a page on SmackJeeves for our short comic '9 Month Rebirth'. The story is still in the works but I like the beginning and I'm not planning on changing anything...so! Yeah. I'm making the cover art right now and I have pg 1 done. FHWEE!! XD.

The story is shoujo-ai [girl love]. We really try to cover all of the bases in our stories. We discriminate against discrimination! Lol. SO yeah, show your support and check up on it! We'll post updates when we post more pages!

BEHHHHH....

My brain is currently trying to wrap around 3-4 stories and how to make them all intertwine. Most of them are really short and are only pieces to a bigger puzzle.

One of our bigger stories which we have been working on for a while is Main Frame. Trying to not give anything away, the main character shows up in a lot of our other stories which offer other pieces to her puzzle. It's really cool but completely mind boggling to put together properly. Currently I'm trying to interweave 4 stories, and I have no idea how many other stories Sam has that deal with this but yeah. It's a lot. Wish us luck!

Yeah....I'm taking a digital art class so I'm going to be able to work on some more 'official' art for some of our stories. That makes me happy :). I'm still working on Orison [though at a kinda slow pace] and Sam's working on V-Go. Stuff's coming together awesomely and I can't wait for things to go farther.

Alright, so Sami and I have been hunting around for the paper we need to do the folders for our presentation of ORISON....It was a bitch! We went to three places... Scrapbook Territory, Joann's, and Michael's looking for this ONE type of paper that we needed more of and found only 2 sheets. So evidently the brand we liked is fazing out.... Much to our chagrin.

We lucked out and found some online for both ORISON and our other story in the works, Oscular. I've ordered 20 sheets of each so hopefully we'll get them in the mail soon.

Also, my dad doesn't want his PO Box anymore so Sami and I are thinking of taking over his. Yay! Time to get our business cards! XD

Things are looking up a bit. [Knock on wood] Hope they come together as nicely as they have been so far!

Hello! SO yeah, I thought I'd start posting notes on what its like comicking and all of the ups and downs involved with it. A lot of people wonder about it or think it's easy....but in reality it's far from it. There are all sorts of issues that are going to arise that we're going to have to overcome in order to make our dreams come true. So yeah, we're not starting this at the very begining of our comicking career but yeah...early enough where we're under the radar. :)

Group I'm Involved With : RagTag Studios
RagTag Studios consists of me and Sami V and whoever wants to help us with a particular story. We started back in sophmore or junior year of high school writing and making up characters. Not until recently have we started to get things done and build up what we need for our debut. We have tons of stories about all sorts of different issues. Our main goal is to uplift virtues, character, determination and the like through our comics and hopefully reach younger generations. We also try to make our characters, situations, and plots as real as we can. Even the sci-fi fantasy ones ^^;

Orison - a story of hitmen, espionage, and saving the world from disasterous biological weapons.

VGO [Video Game Odessy] - A story of getting sucked into a video game and trying to beat it without dying.

Oscular - A story about overcoming things in one's past and not letting it affect your dreams.

I'm probably about a good third of the way done with the story. We're planning on it being aproximately 7 books long. Since the beginning is all done I'm thinking of starting working on the comic when Kristian comes back up to the bay. He's been proofreading the story as I write it and he has some ideas on how the panels should look. I'm also working on our presentation of our project with sami. We want to set a new standard for submissions and comics in general. XD
